infant photography prop ideas

Oh, how I love photographing newborn babies. I love how fresh and new they are to the world. I love how quickly they grow and how rapidly they change and that I love I get to capture that itty bitty squishy tiny state forever. Love it. Well at the end of a newborn session I always love to try to put the baby in a fun prop. Why not right? Change things up and have fun with it. Well, I wanted to share a few of my favorite props with you. Some of these are brand new and some I’ve used before but I still really just love them. So here you are… newborn baby props ideas for you…

My newest barrel from a local antique store…

Not a new one, but yet still one of my faves… my little antique doll bed…

And another new bucket or barrel, but this one is white…

And big sister’s legs… Maybe not technically a prop, but kind of right? Love it…

A big chunky lovely basket…classic…

Also see some of my past posts on newborn photography prop ideas and antique newborn photo props. Some families even had their own ideas for baby photo props.

And if you’re interested in learning about how to photograph newborns or how to pose their new little itty bitty bodies check out my newborn photography essentials.

So take a picture of a newborn babe…it’s pretty much invaluable…
