iphone camera
I love my iphone. Really. I do. Last summer my hubby (Phil) told me I really needed one. I said, “Nah, I don’t need to spend the extra 30 bucks a month. I’m good.” But somehow he got me one and convinced me that it was, “soooo good for my business.” Personally, I really think he was motivated by the fact that I often called him when I was in the car, lost, and asked him how to get to my most recent destination. Or…I’d be in the car on the way to a photoshoot and say, “babe, can you get on my email for me and get me the phone number of this client. I can’t remember this detail.” Or whatever… My husband’s a software developer so he’s often found on the computer during the workday. So I guess I relied on him as my “back up plan”. Oops. Well, anyway, now I have my own iphone (with GPS so I don’t get lost and with email so I can look up all the stuff I forget). And truthfully…I don’t think I want to live without it. I love it.
These couple of photos below were shot with my iphone. I wanted to share one of my favorite iphone apps. Love all these fabulous apps. This pic below was shot with the “shake it photo” app. Look at the grainy texture and contrasty colors and the polaroid feel. Love.
A friend told me about your gem of a blog and I’m loving it. I took a class at my local city college to learn how to use my DSLR camera without having it on auto mode and I’m continuing to look for ways to grow and learn as I try to capture beautiful pictures of my family. Thanks for taking the time to share your talent and I will be checking in on your blog frequently. By the way, if you are searching for topics to write about, I would love more info of composition and how to make your shots more interesting (i.e. less posed).
