project february: day eight

Day eight: In the car, review mirror

Just playing around trying to do something different and creative. Of course…while at a RED light. :)  The front windshield was much brighter and so is way overexposed/blown out. But I don’t really mind. I think it’s fun.

Manual camera settings and the why behind them:
ISO – 800 (bright outside but shadowy inside the car, the mirro and the backseat was quite a bit darker than the front windshield)
aperture – F 2.8
shutter speed – 1/125
distance from subject (rough estimate) – i’m sitting in front seat of car, he’s in back seat
focal point – the rear view mirror
lens – 50mm 1.2L
camera body – canon’s 5D mark II
