Oh how I love the newborn babies. I love photographing them and I love using a prop with them now and then. I wanted to share a few more fun ideas of newborn photo props for you. There’s so much you can do when photographing newborn babies. Love it.

Especially when they’re new enough and little enough to mold them and play around with them. If the props are kind of random and out there than it’s my preference that there be some kind of connection. Let me show you what I mean… This shot below was done for a family that does melon farming. Awesome right?! See, it makes sense because they are melon farmers.

We get lots of farmers up here you see in our agricultural valley. It’s so fun! If you want to learn even more I have some goodies to help you in my newborn photography book. I love photographing little newborns. For the most part I’m all about the baby, just pure simple baby. But now and then it’s so much fun to change things up and put them in different props. Here are a few of my favorite newborn photography props. I find most of my props at local antique stores.
